That’s where I feel the most at peace, when I’m out among the tall trees or in the mountains or next to a peaceful pond or in my gardens. I feel at peace in nature. Where do you feel at peace? If you really have to think hard about that question then I have news for you: you need to find a peaceful place as soon as possible.

Maybe you love to read, so finding a nook in the bookstore or the library to read for an hour would be a good place for you. Maybe there’s a city park where the cherry blossoms are blooming over a park bench that’s calling your name. Maybe you can find solace in the ocean waves at a nearby beach, or by hiking up to a waterfall and listening to it rush into the pond below. Maybe sitting in an oversized seat at a quirky coffee shop sipping on your favorite drink puts you at ease. Maybe grooming horses and the companionship of animals brings you peace. Maybe it’s as easy as taking a bath and sipping on some tea…

There is a peaceful place for you and if you haven’t found it, I encourage you to do so…and visit it often. We tend to forget to take the time to slow down in this busy world and breathe deep, collect our thoughts and find a moment of peace. It’s good for our stress levels and it’s good for our health to have those moments in life, so I encourage you to find your spot. You deserve a place like that.
